Notice of Extended Service Upgrade

The weekend of 27 April 2017-1 May 2017 will involve MrBackup portal servers in essential service upgrades.  The current servers have been running in excess of two years and have not missed a day of service in those two years.

The portal servers are the first contact servers for any incoming backups and non-availability may result in temporary non-connectivity.

The system is designed with auto-failover checks and will resume backups to an available portal server as soon as the service becomes available again.

This upgrade only affects receipt of new backups.  It is expected that the system will be functioning at 100% capacity by 2 May 2017 or earlier.

Duration: six hours

Impact: possible disruption of service

Status: Scheduled, essential

Please note that all archives in storage at the time of this upgrade will not be affected.
