Easier Network management access. As MrBackup is an Internet based backup solution provider, easy access to Network settings is always important.

This is from the Windows Blog, dated 18 March 2015, Blogging Windows writes:

New network fly-out from the taskbar: We’ve heard a lot of feedback on this and have introduced a network fly-out from the taskbar when you click on the network icon for quick access to your network settings. You’ll be able to easily connect to wireless networks from this fly-out. We have more work to do here as the UX isn’t complete just yet.

Issues to watch out for:

  • Possible multiple release dates for types of devices: tablets and smart phones may be as early as April 2015!
  • OS as a service: renew periodically?
  • Microsoft’s April 2015 Build conference, at which the company will have even more announcements and likely issue a Windows 10 release date. A possible October 22, 2015 release date has been suggested.
